Mario Constantino Sulit, 91, went to be with the Lord on August 2, 2012. He passed away in his sleep at his daughter’s home in Suisun City, CA. Mario was born on April 13, 1921 in Manila, Philippines.
Mario worked at Civil Aeronautics Administration for 32 years. He also served faithfully as an elder and sunday school teacher at Cruzada Church of Christ in Manila after retiring as an electronics engineering professor of 20 years at Far Eastern University. Mario married Gaudencia Sulit on October 4, 1948 and they immigrated to California in 1982, eventually settling in Vallejo.
Mario was preceded in death by his wife, Gaudencia, on April 9, 2008 and son, Nathaniel, on November 22, 1972. He is survived by his four children: Roberto Sulit (wife Mena), Divinia Cruz (husband Arthur), Noelita Cajudo (husband Sam), and Mario Jr. (wife May), eleven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
